The ocean can be soothing or turbulent, the conditions being dependent on the weather.
In times of turbulence, it is wise to be still in the middle of the storm.
If you are a Christian, placing your faith in Jesus, as He is the Author and Finisher of your faith and He is your Peace in the middle of your storm.
Resist being distracted by voices from your past or being influenced negatively by people around you at present.
Storms are a time of testing our faith in God. They serve a purpose.
In growing us and teaching us to surrender anything that is not relative to our present.
Rest does not necessarily take the shape of not doing anything.
Instead it represents releasing your faith in God.
“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19 NIV
Be encouraged. Stay in Peace, the Peace of Jesus Christ.
