Recently I returned to one of my favourite local shoot locations, Manly, near Brisbane, Australia.
When I received my new Canon camera, I choose to train myself with shooting into the sunrise whilst the yachts naturally cast shadows.
Photography is about light of course. It is appropriate to define the distinctiveness between shadows and natural light.
As a Landscape Photographer I thrive on experimenting with light and adding various dimensions involved with composition.
The evening of this shoot was superb. The tide was at the point of receding.
Earlier, the pinks and blues of the early evening were perfectly reflected across the water.
Whilst the yachts were beautifully silhouetted on the water.
Sometimes the dramatic dynamics of colour are appealing.
The sand is golden as it is an indication of the low tide.
Thank you for liking my work!
