Burleigh Heads is a versatile beach to capture magnificent sunrises and sunsets from. It is also a popular beach with surfers.
With the conditions being so good and calm, whilst the tide was coming in, I sensed to go, to what I call the rock pool, and to wade into the water and witness the serene scene before me.
As you can see, the light was extraordinary, particularly with calm conditions, the reflections are more significant and clear. As the sun rose, the light dispersed across the horizon and the water, was truly spectacular.
Every now and then I needed to step back, closer to the shore, as the water was starting to get deep, as my shoot progressed. It was a memorable sunrise.
