10th August 2017
On each photoshoot, either sunrise or sunset, I am expectant of something extraordinary that is going to happen.
I always arrive early, preparing myself and my photographic equipment for the landscape or seascape shoot.
It is my custom to prepare my camera in advance, ensuring my batteries are fully charged.
The back of my vehicle is my office, my pantry and my wardrobe. I travel fully equipped.
Sunrise this particular morning was dramatic as you can see, vivid colours of the clouds reflected on the water.
Some sunrises and sunsets, the colours are intense and only last for a short duration.
On this occasion I was fortunate enough to enjoy some good light for quite awhile.
I stepped into the water, wearing my waders, and enjoyed the moment of anticipation before the sun broke forth onto the horizon.
It was a happy time clicking away with my camera.
This is one of my favourite locations near Brisbane, Australia.
It is frequented by fishermen and of course by Seagulls and Pelicans.
As a Landscape Photographer, I enjoy the solitude of moments such as this image whilst I also appreciate talking to the public I meet along the way.
Thank you for appreciating my work!
