I drove from Twizel, New Zealand, to Queenstown, New Zealand. I travelled through Lindis Pass, whilst it was snowing. Low snow clouds, suspended in the valley, were a sight to behold.
It was during this trip that I wanted to stop and do a photoshoot, of the spectacular landscape around me; but I persevered and continued up Crown Range mountain pass en route to Roaring Meg. Upon arrival at Roaring Meg, it was minus 3 degrees and snowing.
Gathering my photographic equipment, I made my way up the mountain, Roaring Meg, and positioned myself in the fresh snow and began my shoot. From Roaring Meg, I captured the ‘back’ of the Remarkable Mountain range. I spent a considerable time shooting, adjusting my camera and focal lengths to emphasise the beauty before me.
The weather was incredible as the clouds were ‘spontaneous’ in their moodiness.
Fresh snow and luxurious, fertile valleys, are a wonder to behold!
Thank you for appreciating my work!
