We had a ‘surprise’ snowfall. It was unexpected at that time of the year.
I packed my photographic equipment into the car and headed towards Queenstown, South Island, New Zealand.
The drive down the Crown Range Road was driven with caution due to the icy conditions.
My photo shoot location was a place I had always wanted to visit.
It was perfect. The snow had just fallen, a little earlier the sky was overcast due to the snow clouds.
There were vast expanses of snow, whilst a river coursed its way through the valley.
When I arrived at this destination, I secured my camera on my tripod and made my way into the snow. Not knowing what to shoot first.
The scene was truly peaceful and beautiful.
