As I arrived at Currumbin Beach, Queensland, Australia, I immediately recognised the effect of the bush fires as the light was extraordinary.

The sun attempted to ‘pierce’ it’s way through the immense layer of smoke, which had settled on the horizon. It was a moment and time to remember, reflecting on the effect of the bush fires in Australia, during that time.

Thank you for liking my work!
