This is one of my favourite locations. The jetty is an incredible feature, and depending on the light, it is so versatile, in offering interesting dynamics.
Wellington Point, Queensland, Australia, is well frequented by fishermen, particularly as its tide dependent. The Pelicans arrive out of nowhere when the boats arrive, either to go out onto the ocean, or returning from a fishing trip. Their instincts are so strong.
It is notorious for people walking along the beach at low tide, on the other side of the jetty. I have witnessed people get their timing of the tide wrong and have had to literally wade back to shore, waist deep in water.
Thank you for appreciating my work!
