Rainbow Bay, Australia, is an idyllic location for surfers, walkers and photographers.
This beach, which is located between Snapper Rocks and Greenmount Beach, which are all popular with photographers due to the incredible light conditions as well as when the tide becomes full. The ocean surges towards you at an accelerated rate. Surfers are prolific, from dawn to dusk, particularly when the offshore wind makes its presence felt.
I captured this shot towards the end of my photoshoot. The waves were being affected by the increased wind speed. Wearing waders is an advantage as I can position my tripod and camera in the water and kneel down and compose my shots appropriately. The colours of the clouds add interest to the horizon, whilst the hue of the water contrasts perfectly with the sky.
Thank you for appreciating my work!
