Lake Alexandrina, South Island, New Zealand, is a spectacular location. I arrived at the lake just in time for sunrise. I drove a fair distance to get to this beautiful place. Fortunately I did not encounter any slow traffic en route to my destination.
As the light was perfect, I ran from my vehicle and had my camera already secured on my tripod which accelerated the process of starting my photoshoot. Initially, the conditions were perfectly calm, but soon after I put my camera away, at the end of my shoot, the wind picked up in speed. I was fortunate to be there at the right time.
It is a destination I would return to. There are row of house on the fringe of the lake, frequented by ducks. It is a moment in time I will remember for some time to come.
Thank you for appreciating my work!
