Greenmount Beach, Queensland, Australia, is idyllic for a number of reasons.
It is ideally a sunset beach, but it is also great for sunrises.
A walkway threads around the coastline, offering the public an opportunity to relax or to stroll and jog around the perimeter of the ocean and to be inspired by its beauty.
The evening I captured this image, the tide was coming in and the waves were fairly substantial whilst the cross current was strong.
Greenmount Beach is popular with surfers and with swimmers.
I decided to reduce the height of my tripod and capture the dynamics of the tide and the effect it created amongst the rocks.
Thank you for appreciating my work!
