Cabarita Beach, New South Wales, Australia, is one of my favourite photoshoot locations.
It is ‘versatile’ as a beach in that it is excellent as a sunrise and a sunset beach.
The morning I captured this image, the sky was dramatic as the clouds were influenced by the light. It was a morning of changing the position of my camera on my tripod frequently due to the all round excellence of sunrise light.
This shot was taken just before New Year’s Day and the beach was surprisingly quiet. It is usually populated by surfers, but of course, the wind direction plays a major factor with regards to good or mediocre surf conditions.
As you can see from this image, the tide was going out, but the light and the clouds draw you into the picture.
Thank you for appreciating my work!
