Clarke Beach, Byron Bay, New South Wales, Australia, is an idyllic location for surfers, joggers, bathers, walkers and photographers. Thus it is very popular.
The morning I captured this image, the wind had picked up momentum, considerably. I arrived just in time before it became unpleasant. It was a Sunday morning and the car park to the entrance of the beach was packed very early. You’re mistaken if you think you can get away with not paying for your parking, even early on a Sunday morning, the meters were being monitored.
Accessibility to this area is reliant on tides. At full tide, it is inaccessible. I was fortunate enough to walk up the stairs to the elevated deck to capture this shot. As you can see, the water is an incredible green, and so clear.
Thank you for appreciating my work!
