There is something very special about Currumbin Beach. I always have a sense of excitement when I arrive at this wonderful destination.
The morning of this photo shoot, the conditions were perfect. The tide was receding, whilst I arrived in time to capture the water cascading over the rocks. It was a tranquil scene, as the ocean was calm. Joggers, surfers and walkers were appreciating the spectacular sunrise.
The smoke haze from the fires we had experienced in Australia at the time were evident on the horizon.
