As I continued making my way along the Matukituki River, in the Mount Aspiring National Park, South Island, New Zealand, I discovered spectacular reflections as I walked along the pools that resembled arteries that threaded off the main river.
The fog ascended impressively from a distance and advanced in my direction, which delighted me.
I was able to position my tripod on the edge of this deep pond and click away using my camera button.
Periodically wiping my filters ensuring they were dry. I didn’t mind as it was wonderful witnessing the momentum of the fog.
The journey involved with reaching some destinations is worth it.
I walked several kilometres, travelling across hard terrain and determined to overcome the fear of crossing the river to reach my intended destination.
Those words define my intentionality as a landscape photographer. Each footstep is made with a joyful heart.
Absorbing the beauty around me and capturing it with a purpose, to introduce the beauty of the outdoors, indoors, to enhance your interior.
Special moments specifically intended to release joy.
Images that evoke emotions!
Thank you for liking my work!
