Kirra Beach, Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia, is a gorgeous location.
When I arrived at the car park, looking at the clouds, pre-dawn, I instinctively knew the sunrise was going to be spectacular, but not to the extent it was, where I was literally ‘soaked’ with the colours that reflected from the sky that morning.
I surveyed the area as I always do, determining the best position. After a couple of experimentations, I settled for the vicinity where the tide was coming in and covering the sand with various hues of red, reflected from the sunrise.
It was a moment in time when you cannot waste a second. My tripod was secure in the sand whilst my camera button was busy clicking away as the light was indescribable before me, as only God can splash colours across the sky.
Thank you for appreciating my work!
