I walked to Flat Iron Building and prepared myself for my shoot early.
There were road works in the vicinity which proved to be quite intimidating with the traffic at times.
It necessitated I position my tripod in a fairly precarious position to capture this shot.
As a landscape photographer, I love capturing landscapes of course.
But with intentionality, I am also excited about shooting cities and buildings.
I positioned my tripod and camera at an intersection, when at times, I was particularly close to traffic turning just in front of me.
It was interesting witnessing the city come alive and people wander home to catch cabs after a night out.
Capturing Flat Iron Building in the right light was imperative. The sunrise was beautiful.
