Burleigh Heads Beach is an incredibly versatile beach. It is favoured with surfers, photographers, joggers, cyclists and dog walkers.
It is great, either as a sunrise or sunset beach. The rocks, which are prolific at the water’s edge, are impressive, particularly at high tide. It is a photographer’s delight to capture the water cascading over the rocks at speed, particularly with the use of filters.
The smoke-filled horizon is evidence of the recent bush fires which have been experienced for some weeks in New South Wales and Queensland, Australia.
