As I arrived on the beach at Burleigh Heads, Gold Coast, Australia, that morning, instinctively I knew it was going to be a very good sunrise.
This beach is beautiful. It has an area of well rounded rocks which the waves crash against, particularly with the incoming tide, which was starting to happen during this photoshoot.
Although I wasn’t that far out in the ocean, wearing waders gives me the advantage of capturing the momentum of the waves as they are impacting against the rocks.
It was a thrilling time, as I needed to keep my tripod secure, which it was, and my equipment safe, which I did.
Thank you for appreciating my work!
