As our departure from New Zealand is imminent, I am reminded of special people who have ‘coloured’ our lives, a beautiful shade, whilst in this country.
Ps’ Tom and Jocelyn from City Impact Church, Queenstown, South Island, New Zealand, are exceptional Pastors and leaders at City Impact Church and in the community.
The love of Jesus oozes from their hearts and it is evident in the manner in which they conduct their lives. Behind closed doors too!
In an extended season of opposition and trials, they drove over the Crown Range, having just met us, to pray with us and to become better acquainted with Keith and I. And us, with them.
People like Ps’ Tom and Jocelyn are an accurate example of Who Jesus is and the manner in which He commands us to live.
Ps Tom has lent us his vehicle during the last five days of our time here.
Ps Jocelyn, when times were tough, enquired if we had food. Nothing is too much for either of them to serve God’s children.
They have opened up their hearts, their lives and their home to Keith and I.
We have been humbled and touched and learnt lessons from Ps’ Tom and Jocelyn, touching and affecting so many people’s lives with God’s love, in such a quiet way.
As Jesus would have us do!
