Wellington Point, Queensland, Australia, is a great location for fishermen, walkers, joggers, cyclists and photographers.
On the morning of this photoshoot, the tide was low, which enabled me to walk a considerable distance to the water’s edge, to capture first light and the sunrise. As you can see, the conditions were perfectly calm, whilst the golden glow from the sun contrasts with the coolness of the clouds, perfectly reflected on the water.
The pelicans wait eagerly for the return of the fishermen and gather en masse, making it a beautiful picture. The jetty is such an impressive feature and very popular with walkers and fishermen, alike.
Thank you for appreciating my work!
