Whilst I was shooting at Norah Head Light House, Central Coast, Australia, I knew this rock ledge would offer me some special shots of the rocks, ocean and sunrise.
Capturing the water rushing over the rocks, particularly as the tide was receding rapidly, was essential.
It was quite something standing on those rocks barefoot, as they were particularly sharp. But I had so much fun!
I was able to find a rock to sit on, securing my tripod on the rocks in front of me, which worked well.
My timing co-ordinated well with the sunrise, with a golden glow stretched across the water before me as the water soaked the rocks, with the rhythm of the ocean.
