3rd August 2017
This image was captured towards the end of my shoot.
The sunrise wasn’t anything too extraordinary to start with.
It was high tide so I wasn’t able to wade into the water as I usually do, wearing my waders.
So I stood on the boat ramp and appreciated God’s incredible display of light from there.
I lowered my tripod, as close to the water as I could, for maximum effect of reflections of the clouds on the water and the light literally exploding from the impressive cloud right above me.
At hand, I used a variety of photographic filters for impact whilst I clicked away using my camera.
As you can see, the water was calm and smooth, accentuating the effect of the cloud and releasing vibrant colours.
Clouds move across the sky so rapidly at times, it is important to keep your eyes peeled as a photographer.
I’m equally passionate about landscape and seascape photography.
At this time, I am more conveniently located to the coast.
Clouds add such a dramatic dynamic to the image, don’t they?
Various hues immediately draw one’s attention to the centre of the image!
Thank you for appreciating my work!
