The morning I stepped into Lake Wakatipu, Queenstown, New Zealand, was the most tempestuous I have ever experienced.
Due to the high wind, I made my way cautiously to where I thought the vantage point would be suitably dramatic.
Although I was not too far from the shore line, the waves were impressive in size and very powerful.
I stood alongside these two rocks which provided sufficient protection against the stormy conditions.
The morning light accentuated the conditions, whilst I held onto my tripod securely and had my camera strap in my hand.
It was that severe in the water.
My intention is always to accurately portray the conditions, as a Landscape Photographer going the extra mile or a few more steps, is worth it.
The sunrise was dramatic and worth the experience!
Thank you for liking my work!
