Kirra Beach, Queensland, Australia, is an excellent beach for photoshoots.
It is ‘versatile’ as a beach in that it is excellent as a sunrise and a sunset beach.
The morning I captured this image, the sky was dramatic as the clouds were influenced by the light. It was a morning of changing the position of my camera on my tripod frequently due to the all round excellence of sunrise light.
I captured this shot just before the end of my shoot. The conditions were fairly rough, but I managed to lower my tripod enough to secure some images, capturing the reflections of the clouds in the water and on the sand, whilst the tide was going out.
Sometimes, I have been able to secure some special shots towards the end of my photoshoots, by being patient and observing the light and cloud movement.
Thank you for appreciating my work!
