As I arrived on the beach, the sky literally erupted into colour before me. Wearing my waders, I ran to the ocean, extended my tripod legs and clicked effortlessly, as I am familiar with the burst of light such as in this image, usually disappears very quickly, which it did.
Everything about this sunrise was exciting. The light, the water, which was literally whipping around my legs and a strong backwash that resisted my being there. But I stood my ground and maintained my composure and clicked to my heart’s content. My work is God’s handiwork and a representation of my soul.
