As a Landscape Photographer, I love the water and capturing any facet of nature, involving landscapes or seascapes.
Location: The Spit, Southport, Australia. It is a beautiful location.
The morning I arrived at this location for my photo shoot, the wind speed was impressive, it was whipping up the ocean.
It was my first visit to The Spit and it won’t be my last.
I arrived just as first light was breaking. The horizon was just ‘cracking’ with the early morning light.
There were numerous angles to select my composition from, which I enjoyed experimenting with.
My camera was well secured onto my tripod as I reduced the height of my tripod to capture the dynamics of what was before me.
Needless to say, my camera was lightly sprinkled with water, which was wiped off immediately.
The beach was filling up with people and dogs, who were having fun on the beach, ‘catching’ waves was a source of amusement for them.
As you can see, the jetty is impressive in size, I walked under the jetty to capture it from this perspective.
The tide was coming in, so I was able to use the influence of the sun on the water.
Its amazing how the sun releases incredible effects on water and the clouds!
Thank you for appreciating my work!
