Arriving at Wellington Point, Brisbane, Australia, at low tide is always a wonderful experience.
People throwing balls for their dogs whilst families frolic along the water’s edge at the end of the day.
There was a storm brewing as my photoshoot was evolving. I love to linger until last light, but that did not happen with this photoshoot.
The tide was turning and starting to gain momentum towards land. I lowered my tripod to maximise the effect of the reflections, capturing the vivid light reflected in the water.
When I captured this image, the area was depleted of activity due to the imminent thunder storm.
Aren’t times like this so special. They become etched in your memory don’t they?
An excitement was growing in me due to the urgency of the moment, before the storm broke out.
But I could not resist photographing the contrasted colours that were so beautifully blended.
As a Landscape/Seascape Photographer, joy rises when I experience such inspirational moments!
Fortunately I was able to complete my photoshoot.
Thank you for appreciating my work!
