Location: Snapper Rocks, Gold Coast, Australia
The morning of this photoshoot, the ocean was pulsating with power as a result of a cyclonic influence off the eastern Australian coastline.
Arriving at first light, I was able to secure my tripod on a concrete wall, with my tripod heightened due to the size and force of the waves. Understandably, I did not want my equipment to get splashed.
During the photoshoot, I noticed the light was changing dramatically to my left, so I repositioned myself on the wall, facing the impressive light. Whilst the water accelerated over the rocks in the ocean, the sun added warmth to the rocks in the foreground. It was an exhilarating photoshoot.
